Old, New, Funky and Blue – Jazz takes root in a big way at this year’s 19th annual Healdsburg Jazz Festival June 2-11.
Trios and quartets, big bands and small combos and solo artists from a wide range of jazz styles – for almost 20 years, the best of America’s musical gift to the world has come to Healdsburg.
This year’s featured artists include the Heath Brothers, Bobby Hutcherson Tribute Band, Henry Butler, Joe Lovano Quartet and the Kenny Garrett Quintet among many others. And just announced, The Django All-Stars will include two sons of founder Dorado Schmitt, Samson Schmitt and Amati Schmitt, both gypsy-jazz virtuosos!
