The Struggle For Socioeconomic Justice in Tunisia

Almost ten years ago today, the small country of Tunisia singlehandedly ignited what has since come to be known as the Arab Spring by deposing its long-reigning dictator, the late Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, and sparking a chain reaction of democratic uprisings throughout North Africa and the Middle East.

Mohammed Dhia Hammami of Wesleyan University, joins us to discuss these issues and more
