Last week, Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Conservative Party surprised the world with a landslide victory winning a majority of seats in Parliament. Johnson’s victory, combined with his public racist comments and the uptick in violence against people of color after the Brexit referendum was passed has caused grave concerns for many Black British people who are now planning to leave the UK because of the Conservative Party’s win in what is being termed as BLAXIT.
