He joins us to talk about Defund SFPD efforts as well as SF Mayor London Breed’s announcement that the foul, decrepit County Jail #4 will close in September after the city empties the jail. Redmond asks why the city couldn’t have decided to empty the jail & expedite its closure before Covid-19.
