1:20 – KPFA News: Meanwhile, the trial of former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin, charged with murdering George Floyd, continues. Yesterday was day 7 of the prosecution’s case. It included testimony from police officers and expert witnesses. Sam Anderson has this report.

Meanwhile, in Washington DC President Biden us announcing plans to open up vaccination eligibility to all adults by April 19th, weeks ahead of his May 1st goal. Both announcements come with caveats, among them whether vaccine supplies will remain strong, and what will happen with coronavirus variants that are continuing to emerge and spread.
