For the first time, the United States apparently won’t be voting against a U.N. resolution that criticizes the U.S. economic embargo against Cuba. Diplomats say the U.S. delegation is expected to abstain. Donald Trump  receives rare good news after a third day of campaigning in  the state of  Florida. A new Bloomberg poll shows him with a narrow two point lead over Hillary Clinton in the battleground state. California prison guards wade into the battle over the death penalty, pouring money into the campaign to defeat a measure which would ban executions and pass a measure which would expedite then. Contra Costa County imposes a moratorium on forcing the families of young people in the juvenile justice system to pay for their incarceration.
