Louisiana’s Attorney General says he’ll file no criminal charges against the two police officers who shot dead Alton Sterling outside a convenience store in Baton Rouge. California’s Attorney General says he’ll oversee an independent investigation into the death of 23 year old unarmed Stephon Clark, shot dead  by two officers in his grandmother’s back yard in Sacramento. Attorney General Xavier Becerra also announces a lawsuit against the addition of a citizenship question on the census, saying it will discourage immigrants from completing it.
