Michael Goldberg, former Rolling Stone editor and senior writer, and founder of the pioneering online music site Addicted to Noise, has just published his third novel, Untitled, the final installment of his Freak Scene Dream Trilogy, which includes True Love Scars and The Flowers Lied. They are tales of “Love, Truth, Innocence & Loyalty.  Sex, Drugs, Rock ‘n’ Roll & Betrayal.”

Dennis McNally wrote: “There was a time when (rock) music was the living pulse of a generation, when wanting to be a rock critic was a credible dream. That is the era of the Freak Scene Dream Trilogy, an ambitious and ultimately successful attempt at recasting the coming-of-age-in-the-wake-of-the-sixties-experience in innovative but authentic language, Kerouac in the 21st century.”

Goldberg joins host Derk Richardson on “The Hear and Now” tonight to read from Untitled, and talk about his evolution from rock journalist to Internet visionary to Days of the Crazy-Wild novelist.
