As nuclear physicist who studied and taught nuclear engineering at U C Berkeley for 13 years, I must say there is no such thing as small nuclear bomb, as the smallest nuclear bomb made today still far larger than that bomb dropped on Hiroshima in 1945 that killed 70 thousands Japanese immediate and lead to the slow painful death of near 100 thousands afterward from radiation poisoning
The recipe of live is built in the atoms that makes the tissues of living things, so if you have the right mixture of atoms combined with the right contortions, life will sprout out after given certain period of time, so given that with trillions of planets across the universe, I strongly believe that life is extremely rampant across the universe including our own Mikey Way, and may be in our own Solar system, but it seems like most of extraterrestrial life is very primitive or at least not intelligent, as well even if it is inelegant, yet not technical……….It also seems technical civilization are very short lived. as the great physicist Enrico Fermi said WHERE ARE THEY. Fermi Paradox Technical civilization are very short lived because unless they get destroyed by a comet, asteroid, or gamma ray burst, they eventually destroy themselves in nuclear holocaust…..With Trump like leaders in office that may come true in the future.
With the feeble structure of the human people, I strongly believe long distance space travel by humans beyond our nearest planets is not possible, but that distant travel will eventually happen as soon as humans shed their physical bodies while keeping their identity, with a robot like med state in between. ….
Phillip, a good plus to your show is to encourage your audience to post comments on your web page, but you must read some on the air……Krasny gets an average of hundred comments on his show, and he reads several during his Forum program……It will be definite plus to your show.
Ok fair is fair . if North Korea is to be de-denuclearized than the USA should de-denuclearized
