On today’s show, I’ll speak to senior policy and campaign manager for Asian Pacific Environmental Network, Faraz Rizvi about the legislation, SB 1259, moving through committee in Sacramento to protect Californians from the fossil fuel industry’s price gouging at the pump via artificial intelligence to paying the cost for remediation of oil wells. We’ll switch gears and hear from friend of the show, Dr. Leslie Joseph, professor of civil engineering at Liberty University to get his take on the impact of data centers. Then we’ll close out the show with Greenpeace documentarian Katie Camosy on her latest endeavor entitled, “Gaslit” starring activist and actor Jane Fonda which makes it Bay Area debut at the Landmark Piedmont theaters July 15th.
