Fund drive special: Patrisse Cullors’ Abolitionist Handbook

In today’s episode, Patrisse Cullors discusses her experience as co-founder of Black Lives Matter after her departure from the BLM Global Foundation. We also take a deep dive into her book, An Abolitionist’s Handbook: 12 Steps to Changing Yourself and the World.

Today, our fund drive special focuses on prisons and mass incarceration. We start off with our weekly State Terror Roundup, then we go to a speech from Michelle Alexander, and finally, we end with a letter from inside San Quentin Prison, sent directly to us.

FUND DRIVE SPECIAL – Pledge $150 and receive Patrisse Cullors’ book An Abolitionist’s Handbook: 12 Steps to Changing Yourself and the World. Filled with relatable pedagogy on the history of abolition, and a reimagining of what reparations look like for Black lives and real-life anecdotes from Cullors, this book offers a bold, innovative, and humanistic approach to how to be a modern-day abolitionist.
