October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and we are joined now by JAC Patrissi, founder and principal of “A Call For Change,” the nation’s first helpline “for people who use the tools of abuse in intimate partnership.” Currently based in Massachusetts, they just launched an expansion in California last week with patterns, the Alliance for Boys and Men of Color, to expand hours and California-based responders.
The A Call for Change Helpline is a free, anonymous, and confidential intimate partner abuse prevention helpline, reachable at (877) 898-3411.
It’s available 12 hours a day – 7am – 7pm PST – with counselors at the ready to provide help in multiple languages, as well as for the deaf and hard of hearing.
