On today’s episode of our weekly Monday segment, The Palestine Post, we’re joined by Khury Petersen-Smith, Michael Ratner Middle East Fellow at the Institute for Policy Studies, where he researches U.S. empire, borders, and migration; along with Gabriella, an organizer with the Bay Area chapter of the Palestinian Youth Movement.
This week’s Resistance in Residence Artist is writer, choreographer and composer Robert Moses. His dance company, Robert Moses’ Kin, celebrates its 30th anniversary this weekend, with an all-original program showcasing powerful, genre-bending theatrical dance. The two-act program features a world premiere, delving into Robert Moses’ signature exploration of sensuality, war, race, human rights, and individual freedoms through dynamic choreography and profound emotional depth. In addition to the premiere, the dance company Robert Moses’ Kin presents three original works choreographed by three guest artists. Each piece features a collaboration with both a composer and a writer, resulting in dynamic and multi-disciplined works.
