As Israel flexed it’s ability to publicly intentionally starve Palestinians in Gaza, this past week marked more than 600 days of the zionist war of ethnic cleansing. Joining us to discuss the latest news and analysis of that violence, is Samer Araabi, a member of the Arab Resource and Organizing Center (AROC). Samer also co-hosts the weekly Palestine Solidarity Announcements every Friday at noon.
Then, Oakland’s non-police emergency response program, MACRO, is looking head-on at a budget shortfall, at the same time that it’s experiencing renewed political attacks. We’re joined this morning by Elliot Jones, the MACRO program coordinator, to discuss the state of the program, how it’s been performing, and the challenges ahead.
