Over 500,000 Haitian nationals currently have Temporary Protected Status in the United States, and the Department of Homeland Security issued a statement last week revoking their protections. After the Supreme Court recently ruled that school systems are, for now, required to offer parents an “opt-out” option allowing their children to be excused from class when the course material conflicts with their religious beliefs, our Resistance in Residence artists this week are children’s book authors Sarah and Ian Hoffman. Sarah and Ian are the authors of Jacob’s Missing Book, a kid-friendly story about book banning, censorship, and LGBTQ+ rights.
