He’s the organizer, founder of the FTP Movement, and the co-chair of the Urban Survival and Preparedness Institute and is co-founder of Black Power Media. He is also author of the bestselling book, “How to Build a People’s Army” and co-producer of the documentary “Organizing is the New Cool.”
We go next to Chicago to discuss that city’s plan to combat ICE. We speak with Damon Williams, a movement builder, organizer, performing artist, educator, media creator and co-director of #LetUsBreathe Collective, an artistic activist organization birthed out of the Ferguson uprising.
