La Onda Bajita – October 27, 2023

On October 27th’s La Onda Bajita & Radio Café: at 8pm we had Cypress Hill with Muggs & B-Real of Cypress Hill being interviewed by Gary J. Baca for Radio Café. Then Dj Tekolote (Pedro Reyes) brings us some hip-hop en espanol. Then we hear a poem by Jorge Arqueta accompanied by Dr. Loco on the Saxophone. At 9pm Chicano Studies & Anthropology Professor Jose Cuellar and Dr. Mazatzin Aztekayolokalli talk about #DiaDeLosMuertos and the Aztec Calendar—followed by Cosmos with Daniel Gilberto Rodriguez, where he reports from an immigrant Rights conference in #Tucson Arizona. Pedro Reyes closes the program with an interview with a community garden named Mariposa, and an upcoming event.
