Paris Warr aka Computrblu Host of the ‘Don’t Disturb This Groove’ program on KPFA every Monday 10pm-Midnight.  Featuring poetry by Briana Smith of Poetry For The People, CCSF.  For this year’s special International Women’s Day programming she shares the knowledge she received while being a part of the Women and Gender studies ‘Project survive‘ program at CCSF.  Being a survivor of intimate partner violence, she believes this information can be helpful for listeners. Whether you are a victim, batterer, friend or family member that needs support.  Computrblu talks about the difference between what a mature healthy relationship looks like, signs to look for in an abusive personality, why victims may stay, how a victim can be properly supported, the importance of consent and above all how to protect yourself and others.
