Today on the It’s Going Down show, we finish out discussion with Brandon Soderberg, co-author of the book, I Got a Monster: The Rise and Fall of America’s Most Corrupt Police Squad, which details the exploits of police in Baltimore, Maryland. It argues that despite continuous reforms and investigations, the nature of police as an outgrowth of slave patrols, ensures that police will always be a force which preserves racial and class inequality through violence.
We also feature an interview we helped facilitate with the fine folks on Upfront and someone who was stabbed by far-Right Trump supporters at the Millions MAGA March in DC.
