In this episode, It’s Going Down presents an interview with two people who have been out in the streets during the massive clashes between protesters, police and National Guard in Seattle. These clashes ended in the police abandoning a precinct, leading to the creation of the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, which spans several city blocks.
We then feature an interview with Robert Evans, an investigative reporter and host of several podcasts, including It Could Happen Here. We talk about the rise of the so-called Boogaloo Boys, a far-Right paramilitary subculture, obsessed with violent civil-war. We also discuss a wave of far-Right and vigilante violence against Black Lives Matter.
