Israel faces international condemnation for the violence its soldiers have displayed at the Gaza border, shooting at Palestinians on at least two recent occasions, killing 30 and injuring more than a thousand. We’ll turn to our Palestine and refugees correspondent Huwaida Arraf for more. Then, the Wall Street Journal is reporting that the US Justice Department has approved a mega merger between the German-owned Bayer AG and the US-owned Monsanto. Jason Davidson from Friends of the Earth will join us to explain why environmental activists and farmers have strongly denounced the merger. Finally, author Ellen Moore will discuss her new book with us called Grateful Nation: Student Veterans and the Rise of the Military Friendly Campus. \
