We speak with two community organizers Ms. Adrienne Hood with Ohio Families United Against Police Brutality and Kiara Yikita with the Black Liberation Movement about ending police terrorism in Columbus, Ohio. We also discuss the police killings of 16-year old Ma’Khia Bryant (April 20th, 2021); Miles Jackson (April 12, 2021); Andre Hill (Dec. 22nd, 2020) and Casey Goodson Jr. (Dec.4th, 2020).
Recent News in Columbus. A federal judge has ordered the police in Columbus, Ohio, to stop using tear gas, pepper spray, batons and rubber bullets against nonviolent protesters. A Coalition of Black lead organizations called for a federal investigation into the Columbus Division of Police.
