We’ll hear audio from today’s mass rally in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Where the brother of George Floyd spoke and Valerie Castile, the mother of Philando Castile. Also we speak with journalist Rebecca McDonald aka BFresh and hip-hop artist Bun B about the murder of George Floyd.

Philando Castile was 32-year-old African-American, who was pulled over while driving in Falcon Heights, Minnesota, and killed by Jeronimo Yanez, a Latino 29-year-old St. Anthony, Minnesota police officer on July 6, 2016. His murder was witnessed on Facebook live.

George Floyd, 46, an African American man and a Houston native. He moved to Minneapolis several years ago seeking to find a better life. On May, 25, 2020, Mr. Floyd, can be seen in a widely distributed cell phone video on the ground with his hands cuffed behind his back while Officer Derek Chauvin, who is white, pressed his knee on the neck of Mr. Floyd. While on the pavement, Mr. Floyd can be heard saying, “he can’t breathe.” 


BFresh is an activist and journalist based in Minnesota.

Bun B is a Hip-Hop artist based in Houston, Texas.
