Oakland Community Rallies For Solid Commitments Amidst A’s Waterfront Ballpark Proposal

On Wednesday, Oakland residents rallied outside the Oakland A’s office, calling for the A’s baseball team and the developer of a proposed waterfront ballpark to invest more funds in the community as part of the project. We spoke with organizers about affordable housing, jobs for Oakland residents and the upcoming critical vote on the A’s Howard Terminal proposal, scheduled for July 20th.
