We gather up journalists, activists, and organizers from all over the country to have an in-depth discussion about what transpired in 2021 and what to expect in 2022. In part one, we speak with Kalonji Jama Changa and Kamau K. Franklin of Black Power Media and journalist Thandisizwe Chimurenga out of Los Angeles about an important stories overlooked by mainstream media. They ranged from a Cop City being built in Atlanta to insidious misframing of crime stats and the defund the police movement to the ineffectiveness and betrayal of the Democrats to the COVID crises.
