Bay Area protesters placed their bodies on the line as a way of condemning Donald Trump’s ongoing racist rhetoric. Hundreds gathered outside the Hyatt Regency in Burlingame as early as 9:30am to protest Trump’s arrival in the Bay Area, where he’s scheduled to speak today. HKR was able to speak with protesters about their concerns and why they felt it was important to speak out against Trump.

The protesters were rude. Verbally and physically attacking Trump supporters who are free to choose the candidate of their choice. I don’t think protesters should be violent, and intimidating people, vandalizing automobiles and blocking traffic. They really aren’t about to change minds and hearts with that behavior. It was juvenile behavior that speaks for itself.
