The Unethical Acts of The Penn Museum Against MOVE Family Members

this episode is no longer available

We speak with Pam Africa of the MOVE Organization about the controversy over Penn Museum at the University of Pennsylvania holding on to remains of MOVE children killed the Philadelphia Police Department in 1985. The MOVE organization learned that the remains of two Black girls in their family – Tree Africa, 14, and Delisha Africa, 12 – were unethically taken and used as research material at the Penn Museum and Princeton Anthropology Department without the consent or knowledge of their families.

Later we speak with writer Kevin Epps about his new book Black Rock: The Dark Side of Alcatraz.
