And later we speak with community activists Reverend Susan Smith and Adrienne Hood about what it means to reimage public safety in the city of Columbus, Ohio.

Reverend Susan Smith, local leader of the Poor Peoples Campaign, and Adrienne Hood, whose son Henry was shot and killed by two plain clothes Columbus police officers in 2016, are leading the campaign for police reform in the city, where Black and brown people are more prone to police harassment and violence, ranking Columbus within the top 20 most brutal cities in the country.
