Reverend Susan Smith, local leader of the Poor Peoples Campaign, and Adrienne Hood, whose son Henry was shot and killed by two plain clothes Columbus police officers in 2016, are leading the campaign for police reform in the city, where Black and brown people are more prone to police harassment and violence, ranking Columbus within the top 20 most brutal cities in the country.
