Tonight’s host, Graduate Apprentice Steve Grevious (aka Stevie G, History of Funk), along with voices both past and present, remember the Black Panther Party.

55 years ago, this month, the community stepped forward with a voice of its own. A voice of the youth, filled with spirit, energy, anger (and strategic, emotional content) and a supportive health, educational, political and security perspective born out of the civil rights narrative and experience. On October 1966, the Black Panther Party was formed, and informed the world about the black community!
