I had a lovely show planned for New Year’s Day but when I started to head out to the station, I discovered that the elevator in my building was out of order. I am wheelchair bound and, as such, I couldn’t leave the building.
We had a behind-the-scenes flourish of activity while we hunted for something to play in my absence and we decided to re-run the show I did on the 6th of November which was a bit of fun. So tonight ended up being about low budget music — without electricity — like Doo Wop … and yodeling!
Instead of fantasies about “White Christmases” there are songs about torrential rains and power outages. No electricity? No microphones? No problem — we can yodel! This episode is a crazy, stream-of-consciousness adventure.
