Calling All Seekers

Calling All Seekers – February 5, 2026

In advance of KPFA’s Black History & Culture Special, Here to Stay airs this Saturday, February 7 from 6am–6pm, Calling All Seekers is devoting the entire show both this week and next week to the astonishing breadth, bravery and artistry that characterize the Black Experience in the United States. Since 1619 – against impossible odds — Black American artists, writers, poets, thinkers, athletes, politicians and activists have turned unimaginable pain into breathtaking art.
