Hosted by Anthony Bonet, “Calling All Seekers” is a journey through sound and memory. Probably there is no time of year more redolent with memories than the Winter Solstice and the various rituals around it. The fads and toys change from year to year but if we quiet our minds we can attend to the signals from what’s left of the natural world. If we do, we might find hints of something more consistent… more eternal. The sun and the birds have gone south reminding us of our place in our solar system. The cold reminds those of us who have homes how nice it is to have someplace warm to sleep. The long winter nights offer an opportunity to reflect on family — the good and the bad. The eternal spectacle of death and rebirth reminds us of those we have lost through the year and the new loves that have come into our often weary hearts.
Join me as we ruminate on what we’ve gained in 2025 and, of course, what we’ve lost. Your comments and suggestions are more than welcome at [email protected]
