If you’ve ever spent time with children, particularly if you’re a parent, you know that along with being amazing, beautiful, and lovable creatures, kids can sometimes be downright annoying. They can make bad decisions, get themselves into trouble, and, perhaps most frustrating of all, they have a way of not doing what we tell them to do! If we’re not careful, we can end up yelling. In fact, our guest today observes that, although the vast majority of parents wouldn’t dream of hitting their children, yelling at their kids from time to time is a different story. Host David B. Feldman interviews Nurse Rona Renner, one of the long-time co-hosts of ‘About Health’ and author of the book Is That Me Yelling? A Parent’s Guide to Getting Your Kids to Cooperate Without Losing Your Cool.
