Our adventures in label land continue with Important Records out of Massachusetts- home to an array of avant rock artists. Without much commercial appeal, this label has managed to put out high quality material from relatively unknown artists for two decades. In recent times, they have ventured into widening genres, and the result is a spectrum of arty, intelligent, and eminently listenable material that is of interest to listeners of this program.
