Celebrating the release of a new CD, “Pacific Premieres: New Works by California Composers,” the eclectic, non-traditional Quartet San Francisco will appear at Yoshi’s in Oakland on Sept. 26. But first, the wide-ranging string quartet–Jeremy Cohen and Matthew Szemela,violins; Chad Kaltinger, viola; and Kelley Maulbetsch, cello–performs live in the KPFA studio and chats with host Derk Richardson.
