Synthesizer inventor Don Buchla is the subject of a film-in-progress by Connie Field (“Have You Heard from Johannesburg,” “The Life and Times of Rosie the Riveter”) and Greg Scharpen. They’ll talk with Derk Richardson about the project and its Kickstarter funding campaign, and play music made on Buchla’s pioneering instruments (including pieces by Morton Subotnick and others).
