In the summer of 2002, Judi Bari’s estate won a federal civil rights lawsuite against the Oakland Police and the FBI. This 4.4 million dollar jury verdict exposed the FBI and Oakland’s liability for false arrest and violations of her First Amendment rights. Seven Generations continues to celebrate International Women’s Month with this radio documentary produced by Noelle Hanrahan. Tune in to Seven Generations with Maya Xochitl every Wednesday, 1-2pm.
