Up Front – Seth Rosenfeld on the FBI

Investigative Journalist Seth Rosenfield has spent 31 years fighting the FBI for access to records about what the agency did to surveil and disrupt bay area activism in the 1960s — it includes highly controversial allegations that Richard Aoki, a Japanese-American organizer who helped arm the Black Panthers — was an FBI informant. He joins us to take calls from UpFront listeners. Plus Sonali Kolhatkar takes a look at solutions to over-fishing, and we talk to Mitch Perry about the militarization of Tampa, Florida–site of next week’s Republican National Convention.
