Up Front – Berkeley Mulls Sit-Lie Ordinance; Dave Zirin on Warriors, A’s and 49ers; Norman Solomon on CA-2

Owners of the Golden State Warriors say they intend to move the NBA franchise to a new coliseum to be built in San Francisco, but the city of Oakland cries foul, saying the team is trying to wriggle out of paying some seventy million dollars. We’ll speak with the grassroots group “Save Oakland Sports” and Dave Zirin—author of Bad Sports: How Owners Are Ruining the Games We Love.

Plus: Berkeley’s city council prepares to debate whether to place a controversial sit-lie ordinance on the November ballot.
