A special, same-day broadcast of the memorial celebration for Father Bill O’Donnell, to be held 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the Berkeley Community Theater. Father O’Donnell, a priest at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Berkeley and a tireless campaigner for peace and social justice, passed on December 8, while at work at his desk. The memorial service is expected to draw hundreds of Father O’Donnell’s fellow peace workers and congregants.
KPFA’s broadcast begins at 6:30 p.m., and will last until approximately 9 p.m.
