The Morning Mix

The Morning Mix – March 25, 2011

The Triangle Shirtwaist Fire was a tragedy that sparked the U.S. labor movement as well as the struggle for workplace safety standards and the eight-hour day. Today, on the 100th anniversary, we hear from the grandchildren of two of the survivors and assess where labor stands today. Sabrina Jacobs produced this fascinating audio documentary.  All this and more, hosted by radio veteran Leslie Stovall.
