Letters to Washington

Letters to Washington – August 27, 2010

Roundtable discussion on hate crimes during a time of a national heated debate with Donald Haider-Markel, Professor of Political Science at the University of Kansas, Mark Potock, Director of the Intelligence Project at the Southern Policy Law Center, and Tad Stahnke, Director of POlicy and Programs at Human Rights First.

It is the 40th anniversary of the indigenous takeover of Mt Rushmore. Well be in discussion with one of the takeoverýs leader Lehman Brightman who founded the first Native American studies department in the country at UC Berkeley in 1969.
