Letters to Washington – August 23, 2010

From same gender marriage to corporate person-hood to issues of citizenship, the 14th amendment is once again at the heart of the country’s political and cultural debates.  Today we’ll be in conversation about this Reconstruction era amendment, its history and how its interpreted today with Maria Blanco Executive Director, Chief Justice Earl Warren Institute on Race, Ethnicity & Diversity at UC Berkeley.
