Today’s OPEN BOOK program features host/producer Nina Serrano in her poet to  poet series with guest poet, Kirk Lumpkin, who will read his poems and  discuss his work. 
Kirk Lumpkin is author of two books of poems, “Co-Hearing” and “In Deep.”  His poetry/music ensemble, The Word-Music Continuum released two Cd’s:  Word Music Continuum and Sound Poems. He has been a featured poetry  performer in the US and Canada also read in England and Scotland under  the auspices of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND). He is on the Board of PEN Oakland. Nina Serrano was named “best local Poet” in Oakland Magazine (July 2010 issue).
