Guitarist Duck Baker joins host Derk Richardson in the studio. A prime mover and continuing creative influence in acoustic fingerstyle guitar playing, Baker, who now lives in England, returns to Berkeley with two new albums in tow: Everything That Rises Must Converge, a collection of solo pieces and improvisations, and The Waltz Lesson, a trio session with clarinetist Alex Ward and bassist Joe Williamson. He'll play live in the studio and perhaps be joined by Mimi Fox, with whom he shares the bill Tuesday, Dec. 8, at the Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse
