In this week’s program, we will listen to a conversation with two prominent Iraq labor unionists who are currently touring the United States; General Secretary of the General Union of Oil Employees, Faleh Abood Umara, as well as President of the Electrical Utility Workers Union, Hashmeya Mushin Hussein.

Later in the program, we will have a round table discussion with three Bay Area queer activists about two different campaigns to boycott Israeli interests in the U.S.; we will be talking with two members of QUIT, Queers Undermining Israeli Terrorism, Deej Gold and Kate Raphael, as well as Heba Nimr, who is a member of SWANA, a local queer advocacy with a focus on Southwest Asia and North Africa.
