Then talks with Dr Robert Benjamin, Chief Deputy Health Officer for Alameda County, about preparations locally. David Bacon, labor correspondent, is in at 7:30. Then in the second hour David Swanson, Board member of Progressive Democrats for America, talks about local organizing for health care reform. Wrapping up the program Dean Baker, co-director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research discusses the reappointment of Ben Bernanke to Chair the Federal Reserve.
