A musical tribute to East Bay musician John Havard.
Guitarist and songwriter John Havard passed away at home in the care of friends early Monday, March 30, 2009. He had celebrated his 60th birthday with scores of friends the previous Sunday. In a long musical career, he played with Canyon, Rising Tide, Eagle Park Slim and the Mile High Blues Band, Bob Mora and the 3rd Degree Blues Band, the Portables, and the Natives, among others.
