The Bonnie Simmons Show and Derk Richardson's The Hear & Now merge once again from 8 p.m. to midnight as Bonnie and Derk cull through the records they played during the past year and come up with "the best music of 2008" — or at least the artists, albums, and songs that continue to call out to them from their playlists. It's another free-form four-hour festival of folk, pop, rock, soul, and jazz — the great songwriters, singers, and instrumentalists that brightened up our year.
